Montana Brown says Coachella ‘stank of gerbils’ in incredible rant

Chart-topping bands, bikini clad girls, muscle-bound boys, celeb spotting and oh so many photo ops in the Colorado desert, Coachella is the kind of festival Instagrammers dream about.

But according to one famous visitor, the plethora of social media snap shots of the weekend don't quite compare to the 'grim' reality of actually being there.

After attending the festival for the first time, Love Island's Montana Brown launched into an incredible rant about her personal experience as Ariana Grande brought the event to a close.

From the smell of gerbils to paying over the odds for chips, Montana had this to say…

"Coachella. WOW…can I just say for all you out there wondering whether to save up the dollar bills and buy a ticket to Coachella I need to address some things…YES I took some nice pics and the acts were AMAZING….

"But I also had blisters from my shoes, you have to walk like an hour from the Uber drop off to the festival itself, it smelt like gerbils and I bought some loaded fries for about £20 and then at the end of all that when you finally get to the cab… you gotta pick sand and dust out your hair and nostrils

"I personally think all the parties are way better than the actual festival," she added.

Thanking her management team for forking out for the trip, Montanta then warned: "Just thought you should all know that it’s not as glam as it looks and on one day I legit got dressed 3 times in the space of an hour to get some pics so I hope you f***king enjoy them."

The festival, which prepares to kick off its second weekend this Friday, always attracts a huge number of celebs and influencers.

Montana's fellow Love Island alumni Olivia and Alex Bowen and Eyal Booker have all shared pics of their time at the event this year.

While US stars including Kendall and Kylie Jenner , Justin Bieber and Katy Perry have all been spotted mingling with ordinary folk.

Headliners Childish Gambino, Tame Impala and Ariana Grande will all take to the stage again this weekend for the festival's second run.
