My Chemical Romance have announced more reunion shows in Australia, New Zealand and Japan.
The rock band announced last week that they are reuniting for a concert at Los Angeles’ Shrine Auditorium on December 20.
MCR will now also perform at Melbourne Showgrounds on March 20 and at Sydney’s Parramatta Park on March 21. Tickets go on sale November 13 at noon.
The next week, MCR will travel to New Zealand and perform at The Outer Fields at Western Springs on March 25. Special guests for the NZ concert include Jimmy Eat World, Midnight Youth and Miss June. Tickets go on sale to the general public November 12 at 1 p.m.
MCR will also play at Japan’s Download Festival in March of 2020.
After announcing their reunion last week, My Chemical Romance sold out The Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles almost immediately.
The band tweeted about the response they’ve received, writing, “It is truly unbelievable to us the happiness we have experienced over the past two days. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for the warm welcome back. We truly did not expect this. See you soon. Xoxo, MCR.”
The band released four albums together before they split in 2013. MCR performed live for last time on May 19, 2012 in New Jersey. The band’s last album was Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys.
