Nadine Coyle says Sarah Harding’s spirit has been ‘throwing stuff’ as she opens up on ‘fresh’ grief

Nadine Coyle has revealed she thinks her late bandmate Sarah Harding has been to visit her as things "flew off her shelf" as she spoke about her at home.

Former Girls Aloud star Sarah tragically passed away at the age of 39 in September after a battle with breast cancer.

But Nadine, 36, who spent 10 years alongside Sarah in the chart-topping girl group, now believes she has received communication from her pal.

Speaking on RTE Radio 1, the Irish beauty told host Ryan Tubridy: "I was so close to her in life, it's really difficult to make that bridge but there's definitely been things, she's definitely made her presence felt a few times.

"When we were shooting [Last Singer Standing], it was right in the middle of it all. People were so kind and so lovely but my eyes started to swell, my body was rejecting what had happened.

"There were a couple of days where my headphones just flew across the table when I was getting my make-up done. This happened three days in a row. For no reason, just flew across.

"The girls on the hair and make-up team said, 'that has to be Sarah,' there's no reason why they would fly so far."

She continued: "I was talking about her one night at my house and something went flying off a shelf.

"I was like, is that Sarah? Is she just throwing stuff? It's still so fresh. I still think she's going to phone, I'm in that stage of it."

Nadine asked Sarah to make contact with her as she paid touching tribute to the star one week after her sad passing.

She wrote alongside photos of them together: "Thinking of you all day everyday & trying to imagine how your new journey is going.

"Please feel free to come visit me anytime. I know lots of people will want some Sarah spirit time so I can wait my turn.

"I hope you now know how much you are loved & how you impacted so many lives by being wholeheartedly yourself.

"Always an inspiration, always a shining light & always my friend!!"
