Nancy Wilson, one of the most legendary jazz singers of our time, has died at age 81.
The late singer’s manager confirmed her death to the Associated Press. She died on late Thursday night (December 13) at her home in Pioneertown, a town near Joshua Tree National Park in California. She died peacefully after a long illness.
Nancy preferred being referred to as a “song stylist” and she recorded more than seventy albums before retiring in the early 2010s. She won three Grammy Awards, first in 1965 and then again in 2005 and 2007.
We send our thoughts and condolences to Nancy‘s loved ones during this difficult time.
