Napoli are furious after claiming Juventus were "shameful and offensive" during their Serie A title celebrations.
The Old Lady pipped the Partenopei to the scudetto and proceeded to celebrate with their fans on an open top bus parade in Turin.
Napoli have taken exception with Douglas Costa’s live stream of the party, as it included a fan’s mocked up coffin with Lorenzo Insigne’s name and the Azzurri badge on it.
Napoli wrote on Twitter in response: “We are truly indignant at the shameful and offensive attitude held by some Juventus players today.
"Serious gestures that offend the dignity of the people and a Neapolitan like Insigne. It is unacceptable #ForzaNapoliSempre."
Napoli boss Maurizio Sarri has been linked with a move to Chelsea, but the Italian appears set to remain at the San Paolo.
Napoli owner Aurelio De Laurentiis confirmed his admiration for Sarri: “Maurizio Sarri is the author and the sculptor of this season of great beauty. I thank you all for it.”
De Laurentiis will likely be required to raise Sarri’s salary from £1.3m annually to £3.3m to convince him to snub the Blues or another big-money job.
Napoli will hope to end their 29-year wait for a title next year after coming so close this term.
