Nicki Minaj Dominates 2018 People’s Choice Awards Winning Two Categories … and the Honor of Thirstiest Quote

Nicki Minaj opened last night’s 44th annual People’s Choice Awards sponsored by E! with a mini-medley of her songs “Good Form” and “Dip,” with rapper Tyga joining her for the second number. Later she went on to take home awards in two major categories: “Female Artist of the Year” and “Album of the Year” (for her album Queen).

But even with all of that, her night will probably be most remembered for a thirsty line that she dropped during one of her acceptance speeches. When accepting her award for “Female Artist of the Year” from Jimmy Fallon, Nicki began thanking a long list of people who helped with her success, finally giving special thanks to designer Donatella Versace for her dress that evening.

However, when she did so, she also let it be known with a wink which eligible Hollywood star she has her eyes on:

Shout out to Donatella Versace for custom-making this outfit for me. And shout out to Michael B. Jordan … ’cause he’s going to be taking it off of me tonight.”

Below we have the full recording of the show; Nicki’s set starts at the 25 second mark of that video. We also have a separate clip of Nicki’s acceptance speech, a video of her later back stage interview about her “shout out” to Michael B. Jordan and the full list of last night’s winners.
