Here we go one more time.
NSYNC reunited in full — yes, Justin Timberlake even joined the group — to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Monday. Timberlake, JC Chasez, Chris Kirkpatrick, Joey Fatone and Lance Bass gathered to thank their fans and the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce for the honor.
“This is so surreal,” Timberlake said at the ceremony. “You guys are the best fans in the world. First off, I’m gonna sound like a broken record, but for all of your who came from and wide to be here to share this moment with us, thank you so much … These four guys mean so much to me and we’re really a family.”
Ellen DeGeneres and Carson Daly presented the group with the star. Timberlake’s wife, Jessica Biel, was in the crowd supporting her husband.
Fatone joked to Variety that the date of the ceremony — April 30 — was very fitting because “It’s gonna be May!” referencing the viral meme based on their hit song “It’s Gonna Be Me.”
NSYNC previously reunited at the 2013 MTV VMAs to perform a medley of its biggest hits ahead of Timberlake winning the Video Vanguard award.
The “Bye Bye Bye” crooners formed in 1995 and ultimately broke up in 2002.
