Older, nonpartying Hamptonites are aghast at plans for a Saturday-night bash that will go from midnight until sunrise.
The “Catacombs” event is being organized by the Spur, a private co-working and entrepreneurs club coming into Southampton, sources say.
“Anyone who starts partying at midnight doesn’t have a real job,” said one invitee, who won’t be going.
The hosts, trying to maintain top secrecy and exclusivity, will text 150 guests at 9 p.m., instructing them to go to a location from which they will be shuttled to “live music, celebrity DJs and [an] LED light show.”
The invite lists Blade as a sponsor, but a spokesman said the aviation company never agreed to be involved: “We’re not in the business of sponsoring after-hours parties.”
