Peabo Bryson Cancels Upcoming Shows After Heart Attack

Peabo Bryson‘s May 3 concert in Akron, Ohio, and many more have been canceled after he suffered a heart attack.

Bryson’s representative said the Grammy award-winning singer-songwriter is making a full recovery but has to cancel several planned concerts.

Bryson suffered a “mild heart attack” at his Georgia home last weekend.

“Mr. Bryson is still listed in stable condition and is improving rapidly,” Bryson’s representative said in a statement.

Hi family “extends their deepest gratitude and appreciation to friends and fans for the outpour of love and support expressed throughout this experience,” the statement added.

TMZ published a list of concerts that Bryson has canceled.

May 3-4 — Akron, Ohio

May 10 — Hammond, Indiana

May 12-13 — Orlando, Florida

May 16 — Greenville, South Carolina

May 25 — Bethesda, Maryland
