Paul Pogba has revealed he’s been in close communication with two world-class players – but has refused to confirm his long-term future will be at Manchester United.
The Frenchman spoke to the press after getting on the scoresheet in his nation’s 2-1 win over Australia on Saturday.
Pogba was asked about his future, which has been the subject of some speculation after the midfielder fell out with Jose Mourinho on a number of occasions last season.
But he refused to discuss issues regarding club football, what with him wanting to remain focused on the task in front of him now that the World Cup is underway.
Instead he explained how he has been in communication with Paulo Dybala and Samuel Umtiti.
Although insists this has nothing to do with him wanting to leave Manchester United for Juventus or Barcelona.
"I am with the France squad, I don’t want to speak about the future of the club and all this," Pogba told the press.
"Yes, I speak with [Paulo] Dybala, but whether I speak to Dybala or speak with [Samuel] Umtiti, who plays at Barcelona, it’s not there I will go and play there!"
