After the earthquake struck Friday, a Tsunami is anticipated to hit Alaska’s Cook Inlet and southern Kenai Peninsula.
According to reports, the quake completely destroyed local news station KTUU. The natural disaster knocked the network off air as items fell from shelves at the station and computers went flying.
The NOAA alert said that “for other US and Canadian Pacific coasts in North America, the level of tsunami danger is being evaluated. Further information will be provided in supplementary messages.”
