Prince Harry's ex-girlfriend Florence St George has admitted she feels "lucky" that their relationship didn't work out.
The 35 year old briefly dated the Duke of Sussex in 2011, with her now speaking out on the lack of privacy she had during their romance.
Writing for Stella magazine, she says of their time together: "My privacy ended abruptly, and the scrutiny began. A new story would appear almost every day in the press, my school friends were interrogated and there were photographers outside my front door.
"I take my hat off to those people who can cope with that lifestyle, but I knew I couldn't.
"Although it was sad at the time, I feel lucky that the relationship was short-lived," she continued.
Since her split from Harry, Florence has married the vice-president of the Grand Bahama Port Authority, Henry St George.
They have welcomed daughter Iris, seven, and Jimmy, three, and now live in the Bahamas.
Meanwhile, 37 year old Prince Harry married Meghan Markle, 40, in 2018 and have since welcomed son Archie, two, and daughter Lilibet, five months.
Meghan recently gave an interview to Ellen DeGeneres, in which she opened up on how her and Harry spent a secret Halloween night out with Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank.
Speaking about their night out, Meghan told Ellen: "[Prince Harry] came to see me in Toronto and our friends and his cousin Eugenie and now her husband Jack, they came as well.
Look out for 'Kate At 40', a collector's edition of OK! magazine packed full of exclusive content about the Duchess Of Cambridge. On sale now for £4.99 at most good newsagents.
"And the four of us snuck out in Halloween costumes to just have one fun night on the town before it was out in the world that we were a couple."
Surprised by the revelation, host Ellen asked: “So you went with Harry to a Halloween party and they had no idea it was the two of you?"
"It was a post-apocalypse theme," Meghan confirmed. "So we had all this very bizarre costuming on and we were able to just sort of have one final fun night out."
Royal expert Katie Nicholl has told OK! how their connection with Eugenie, 31, and Jack, 35, is one of the only ones they have kept within the Royal Family.
Katie says: "Eugenie and Jack are very close to Harry and Meghan.
"It's actually one of the few close relationships Harry and Meghan have retained in the royal family."
