Chloe Madeley, 33, the daughter of Richard Madeley, 64, and Judy Finnigan, 72, has shared her anguish about being separated from her family during the third lockdown. The fitness-enthusiast has been holed up at home with her husband James Haskell, 35.

Taking to Instagram, Chloe shared her sadness in view of her 236,000 followers.

Uploading a throwback snap, a much younger Chloe wrapped her arms around her dad in a sweet embrace.

The precious father and daughter moment saw the pair beaming at the camera.

Alongside the photo, the presenter revealed it had been a long time since she had seen her dad, seemingly due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Chloe captioned the post: “12 was good to me… I miss my dad,” followed by a heart emoji.

Fans rushed to comfort her following the candid message, as many people reassured Chloe she will reunite with her father soon.

“Love memory photos like these! Cherish them,” one person remarked.

Another penned: “This too shall pass and you’ll have the opportunity to hug your dad again. Chin up.”

“What a beautiful dad and daughter photo. Can’t beat a dad and daughter relationship,” a third commented.

“Chloe this is beautiful. This will end one day and that hug will mean so much to you,” a social media user echoed.

A fifth added: “If it’s any consolation, we’re all in the same boat. Just be glad he’s well and healthy.”

Chloe’s comments come after she recently addressed her parents’ marriage, which she branded “not normal”.

The proud daughter said it wasn’t normal for couples to spend so much time together.

The fitness star revealed that watching her mum and dad’s relationship took “a bit of undoing” for the fitness guru.

Chloe commented: “I grew up watching my parents do everything together.

“It took me a really long time to realise that’s not normal.”

The best-selling author confessed that it wasn’t until she met her husband James that she finally understood how romantic relationships were supposed to work.

“I’m really lucky that I found James when I did – because he was a rugby player, so I wasn’t going to come first.”

Speaking in an interview with Woman’s Own, Chloe continued: “With a rugby player, it’s them and their career – and you like it or lump it.”

The couple tied the knot in December 2018 after James got down on one knee during a trip to Paris.
