Sheridan Smith puts on an erratic performance AGAIN in Cardiff

Sheridan Smith puts on erratic performance AGAIN: Actress wraps up tour in Cardiff with more ‘obscene language’ and ‘flashing her underwear’

Another night, another knicker-flashing, obscenity-laden performance from Sheridan Smith.

The former Gavin & Stacey actress has finally sung her final note, with the curtain coming down on her popular run in Cardiff on Sunday.

But in-keeping with the rest of the tour, Sheridan, 36, was sure to leave revelers’ mouths agape with her erratic behaviour.

Stealing the show: Another night, another knicker-flashing, obscenity-laden performance from Sheridan Smith

Before even the interval had rolled around at the Wales Millennium Centre, the singer had declared that she’d like to get naked on stage, told the audience that she was ‘bonkers’ and, according to The Sun ‘opened her legs to expose her underwear’.

The behaviour is in fact a continuation of what she’s been up to on stage on other nights of the tour.

She told the Cardiff crowds on her finale night: ‘This is so new to me, because obviously I’m used to playing roles and hiding behind characters, so bear with me. I feel naked right now. I will get naked — but in the second half.’

The publication reports that she belted out Robert Palmer’s Addicted To Love, before declaring: ‘You can see my Spanx, can’t you?’

She then reportedly uncrossed her legs and said: ‘Sorry — you can see them now!’

Ever since 2016, Sheridan’s behaviour has sparked concern, following her decision to quit Funny Girl after dealing with stress and exhaustion. She also lost her father around the same time.

The tour – which has seen her play London and Edinburgh as well – has seen a consistent show of odd behaviour.

She broke down in tears during her London comeback concert and continued to spark concern from fans as she took to the stage at the Edinburgh Playhouse on Thursday.

During the performance, the West End star reportedly gave out her hotel room number as she entertained the 3,000 strong crowd.

According to The Sun, Sheridan responded to a male fan who interrupted her, by giving him her hotel room number: ‘341 Malmaison’.

The actress, who reportedly seemed confused about the song order, joked she was drinking vodka as she took a sip of water and told fans, ‘We’re dying for a drink and a p***. Go get a G&T and shots, get hammered’.

Impersonating Dolly Parton, the Cilla star was said to have flashed her fake boobs and Spanx as she pranced around the stage singing Nine to Five, before talking about her love life.

Sheridan was claimed to have told the audience: ‘Why do I keep going back for more? Maybe cause I’m addicted to love,’ before revealing she had a boyfriend but ‘it won’t last’.

It comes after the talented singer halted twice and struggled to finish songs during her London concert the week before.

Sheridan previously revealed that she battled anxiety and depression as well as coping with the death of her father from cancer.

During her show at the Royal Albert Hall last month, she sang the Gnarls Barkley hit Crazy and then told the audience: ‘So guys I obviously sang that song because it’s been quite well documented that I lost my mind for a couple of years.’

The Benidorm star – who briefly dated model Graham Nation last year – added: ‘Do you know what really makes me crazy … men, they play head games.’

But after singing Dinner At Eight, she referred to a secret new love. ‘It’s actually my boyfriend’s favourite. Whoops did I let that slip?’ she said.

‘Yes, I’ve got a boyfriend. Don’t act so b****y surprised. I met him at a party a couple of years ago.’

The blonde beauty also dismissed rumours she is pregnant, saying during the performance that she was ‘just fat’. She joked that she had been drinking vodka and at one point said: ‘Oh dear, blubbing already and it’s still the first half.’

One audience member said: ‘Sheridan seemed very emotional. There were a lot of tears. Some songs she barely finished.’

Of her difficult times, the actress told The Sunday Times last year: ‘My life was falling apart and I didn’t tell anyone.’

A spokesman for Sheridan said: ‘This is her debut tour and her emotions while singing are all to do with the great act and show she is putting on.

‘Furthermore, at the Royal Albert Hall she was bound to be overwhelmed by the 5,000 adoring fans that had come to see her and gave her three standing ovations.’
