Whether it’s her sassy waves or honesty with the press, Princess Charlotte has never shied away from being herself. Here’s a look at the young royal’s cutest moments so far.

Princess Charlotte made her public debut at the Lindo Wing of St Mary’s Hospital in London on May 2, 2015. This photo, featuring Kate Middleton and Prince William’s second bundle of joy (which weighed in at 8 lbs 3 oz), was taken hours after Charlottes was born.

We're delighted to share the first photo of Prince George with his little sister Princess Charlotte. #WelcomeToTheFamily This photograph is the first of four official photographs being released today, taken by The Duchess of Cambridge in mid-May.

Charlotte made her Insta-debut on the official Kensington Royal account on June 6, 2015 in this photo with big brother George. As noted by the palace, the photo was taken by their mother Kate.

Here’s Charlotte taking it all in at her christening on July 5, 2015 at the Church of St Mary Magdalene on the Sandringham Estate. Who else can’t handle the cuteness of those teeny tiny eyelashes?! It’s too much!

Like mother, like daughter. Four days after Charlotte’s christening, Kensington Palace released this sweet photo of Kate and her baby girl taken in the Drawing Room at Sandringham House.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to be able to share two new photographs of Princess Charlotte. They were taken by The Duchess in early November at their home in Norfolk. Is there anything more adorable than this photo of Charlotte having a laugh with a stuffed puppy? On Nov. 29, 2015, Kensington Palace released two new photographs of the princess taken by her mother in Norfolk. This puppy party was one of them.

A new family photo – Merry Christmas from The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince George and Princess Charlotte. The Duke and Duchess are hugely appreciative of all the warm messages they have received about their family this year and are very much looking forward to their first Christmas as a family of four.

First Christmas as a family of four! Kate, Will, George, and Charlotte hammed it up for the holidays in this official family photo released by the palace on Dec. 18, 2015. Quick, which is cuter—George’s fairisle sweater or Charlotte’s cardigan?

Charlotte, 10 months, smiles with her dad, Prince William, during the Cambridges’ family vacation to the French Alps on March 3, 2016. And look—Charlotte had two teeth at the time!

Here’s another gem from the birthday series, featuring Charlotte, a blue bow, and a chair cover. So precious!

The Duke and Duchess are very happy to be able to share these important family moments, ahead of their daughter's first birthday.

The birthday photo series also had Charlotte playing outside with some blocks. Look at her go!

Charlotte’s first Trooping the Colour festivities was a special one, as it marked Queen Elizabeth’s 90th birthday. Charlotte matched Kate in pink to take in the sights and sounds of the day from the comfort of Kensington Palace’s famous balcony.

Charlotte and her brother George took part in their first royal trip in September 2016 when they joined their parents on an eight day tour of Canada. The engagement included stops in Vancouver, Victoria, and Whitehorse. Here, a sneaky Charlotte grabs onto her mother’s maple leaf brooch while arriving at Victoria airport.

Want to experience pure joy through the eyes of Charlotte? Just watch this video of her arriving to a children’s party for military families in Victoria during the Cambridges’ royal tour of Canada. Within moments of leaving her mother’s arms, Charlotte heads straight for some green and pink balloons. Pure J-O-Y.

In addition to her balloon party, Charlotte played with some drums at the children’s party. It’s never too early to start ’em on perfecting that royal beat.

Charlotte spent the final day of her and her family’s Canadian tour in this maroon cardigan, matching shoes, and hairpin. Here she is giving the nearby photographers a sassy look, as if to say, I’m getting on this plane and you’re not. (More of this to come later.)

Charlotte literally stopped to smell the flowers while leaving Victoria to wrap the Cambridge’s tour of Canada. George, meanwhile, was busy waving. Maybe.

Speaking of waves, this is believed to be one of Charlotte’s first royal waves (and royal points—seriously, look at her point at all the things!)

Charlotte’s second Christmas involved church on Christmas Day in Bucklebury, Berkshire, where her maternal grandparents live. Any guesses as to what Charlotte is reacting to? A tin of candy canes? Santa Claus? The brisk December weather?

Ahead of Charlotte’s second birthday, Kensington Palace released yet another adorable photo of the princess taken by her mother, this time at Anmer Hall in the village of Anmer in Norfolk. Note the little lambs on her cardigan.

Not long after her birthday, Charlotte stepped into bridesmaid duties for her aunt Pippa’s wedding, which also had George as a page boy. While George was spotted having a small tantrum during the ceremony, Charlotte kept things on the light side by sticking her tongue out.

Pictured: Charlotte and George just completely enamored by yet another year of Trooping the Colour. And yes, Charlotte matched Kate again (and in pink, again!)

While on a royal tour in Poland, Charlotte delivered her first-ever curtsy with some light encouragement from her mom. The moment is brief, so you’ll want to watch this clip more than once.

First curtsy: check! Flower smelling: check! Being a royal is tough work, but at least Charlotte’s got the whole matching thing down (again, with the shoes, dress, and bow).

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are pleased to share a new photograph of their family. The image features on Their Royal Highnesses' Christmas card this year. The photograph shows The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge with their two children at Kensington Palace. It was taken earlier this year by @chrisjacksongetty Their Royal Highnesses have also announced this morning that Princess Charlotte will attend the Willcocks Nursery School in London from January 2018. The Willcocks Nursery School has said: "We are delighted that The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have chosen the Willcocks Nursery School for Princess Charlotte. We look forward to welcoming Charlotte to our nursery in January."

Charlotte was arguably the best part about the Cambridges’ 2017 Christmas card photo. On the same day the image was released, Kensington Palace announced details of Charlotte’s nursery school. Nursery school! They sure grow up fast!

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to share two photographs of Princess Charlotte at Kensington Palace this morning. The images were taken by The Duchess shortly before Princess Charlotte left for her first day of nursery at the Willcocks Nursery School.

To celebrate Charlotte’s first day at Willcocks Nursery School, Kate and Will released two photos of their two-and-a-half-year-old daughter posing on the steps of Kensington Palace with her backpack and matching scarf. Look how excited she is for school!

Hours after Prince Louis’ birth on April 23, 2018, his sister and brother paid a visit at the Lindo Wing at St Mary’s Hospital, where Charlotte delivered another royal wave.

Charlotte’s annual birthday photo in 2018 had a special guest: baby brother Louis! According to the palace, the photo was taken by budding photographer Kate at Kensington Palace on Charlotte’s third birthday.

On May 19, 2018, Charlotte gained an aunt in Meghan Markle following her wedding to Prince Harry at St George’s Chapel in Windsor. For the newlyweds’ carriage sendoff, Charlotte blessed the crowd with her royal wave.

Of course, there were other big Charlotte moments at Meghan and Harry’s wedding. Here’s the princess sneezing while holding onto her mom Kate’s hand outside of St George’s Chapel. Bless you, Charlotte!

Charlotte, who was one of the bridesmaids at the wedding, also channeled her Uncle Harry when she was caught sticking her tongue out while waiting in a car. Princesses can be silly too!
