Tristan Thompson and Khloé Kardashian "Have Not Spoken" Outside of Coparenting

In case you happened to miss last night’s pretty surprising news, Tristan Thompson and Khloé Kardashian are officially expecting another child together, via surrogate. But they aren’t exactly on amazing terms, and a source tells Us Weekly that—aside from coparenting their daughter True—they’ve barely spoken since the baby was conceived.

“Khloé and Tristan are not back together,” the source says, confirming that they “have not spoken since December outside of coparenting matters.”

December is when news dropped that Tristan cheated on Khloé and fathered another child, prompting their split. He issued a public apology to Khloé in early January, saying “Khloé, you don’t deserve this. You don’t deserve the headache and humiliation I caused you. You don’t deserve the way I have treated you over the years. My actions certainly have not lined up with the way I view you. I have the utmost respect for you. Regardless of what you may think. Again, I am so incredibly sorry.”

The former couple were already expecting their second child at this point, according to a statement from Khloés rep to E! News:

“We can confirm True will have a sibling who was conceived in November. Khloé is incredibly grateful to the extraordinary surrogate for such a beautiful blessing. We’d like to ask for kindness and privacy so that Khloé can focus on her family.”

Last month, reports broke that Khloé was in the “early stages” of dating a private equity investor, and a source recently told Us Weekly that Tristan is jealous:

“Khloé has moved on and is happy in her new relationship, which is still in its early stages. Tristan would want nothing more than to be back with Khloé, so of course there’s jealousy there.”

Tristan has also “tried countless times to win back” Khloé, but “she’s done with him for good romantically” and now they’re “strictly co-parenting.”
