‘Vanderpump Rules’ Is Filming Again – Find Out the Cast of Season 9!

Vanderpump Rules is back after plenty of drama in between seasons.

The Bravo reality TV series, based around Lisa Vanderpump‘s SUR restaurant in West Hollywood and the current and former employees, is going to start filming in May after going on hiatus amid the pandemic, Variety confirmed Tuesday (April 27).

While there were reports that the show was done, especially after a series of controversial firings and exits shaking up the main cast, as well as speculation that the show’s name might change, but Variety reports that is not the case.

Last year, resurfaced racist remarks made by longtime cast members Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute, as well as newcomers Max Boyens and Brett Caprioni, led to Bravo firing all four of them.

Another longtime castmember, Jax Taylor came under fire for calling former castmate Faith Stowers a criminal. He was later fired as well, as was wife Brittany Cartwright.

The remaining cast includes couples Tom Schwartz and Katie Maloney, and Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix, as well as Scheana Shay, Lala Kent, James Kennedy and Raquel Leviss.

New cast members “will be announced later, once it becomes clear whose stories are working on the show,” the report also adds.

“‘Vanderpump Rules’ will resume production with a comprehensive health and safety plan. The plan was developed in accordance with CDC guidance, all state and local orders, as well as NBCUniversal’s own safety guidelines. The health and safety of the cast and crew is the priority of Bravo for all of its shows,” a spokesperson said of returning to the film the ninth season.
