Viewers slam former Man Utd star for diving during Soccer Aid 2018

Soccer Aid 2018 viewers have slammed Juan Sebastian Veron after the former Manchester United and Chelsea star dived during the charity match.

Receiving the ball in the opposition box, the Rest of the World midfielder attempted to drive past Olympic hero Mo Farah.

The four-time gold medallist slid in but failed to catch the 43-year-old…but that didn’t stop Veron going down.

The Argentine, who returned to Old Trafford for the first time since leaving in 2003, produced a woeful dive.

Given that the nature of the game is to raise money for Unicef, viewers at home were left furious that someone would attempt to cheat in the friendly.

One spectator tweeted: "Veron diving in a charity match! What’s all that about! The gobs****."

Another posted: "Diving in a charity match is some next level s***housery from Veron."
