Wimbledon 2018’s best dressed celebrity guests

Game, set, match. Wimbledon is in full swing and the tennis tournament is attracting some big name stars courtside.

Royalty and celebrities from the music and film industries flock to the annual sporting event and it’s a good opportunity for them to show off their style credentials.

While there isn’t a formal dress code, everyone wants to make sure dress to impress in SW19, and with the current heatwave, it can be difficult to balance comfort with style.

Day 2

TV presenters Vernon Kay and Tess Daly arrived looking suave, with Vernon in a grey suit and wife Tess in a pale pink trouser suit from Topshop .

Downton Abbey star Joanne Froggatt looked elegant in a white anglaise dress with espadrilles, a raffia clutch and statement orange earrings. Husband James Cannon joined her in a pale blue blazer, white trousers and black top.

Actress Joely Richardson stunned in a pink printed 1940s style tea dress, £415, by Temperley London .

Day 1 saw tennis fans flock to watch Roger Federer’s first match against Dusan Lajovic.

Saturdays singer and presenter Rochelle Humes looked chic in a floral belted midi dress from her Edit with New Look , teaming it with tan sandals and a ladylike box clutch.

Radio presenter Myleene Klass channelled this season’s spotty trend in a one shoulder polka dot dress with bow detailing, £642, by Milan label Marianna Senchina . She wore it with simple black strappy sandals and wavy locks.

Singer Ellie Goulding donned a floral print dress by one of the royal family’s favourite fashion designers – Erdem. She wore the £1,540 Japanese-style ‘Henrietta’ frock from his Pre-Fall 2018 collection with black sandals and a white top handle bag.

One of our favourite looks has to be on Game of Thrones star Natalie Dormer. The actress wore chic striped co-ords with a red lacy cami and lipstick to match.

TV presenter Emma Willis looked effortless in a kaleidoscope print playsuit, £40.50, from Whistles with tan flats and a cross body bag.

Presenters Laura Whitmore and Lilah Parsons put on a stylish display. Laura wore a vintage blue embroidered ‘Flapper’ dress, £250, by Needle & Thread , while Lilah donned a navy off-the-shouder number from Monsoon .

Downton Abbey actress Laura Carmichael looked gorgeous in a floral print wrap dress, £220, from Ganni with matching black accessories.
