It has cut 1p a litre off unleaded and 2p a litre off diesel following a further fall in wholesale costs – the price supermarkets pay for fuel.
As Asda has a national fuel price cap, the move means drivers will pay no more than 118.7p a litre for unleaded and 129.7p a litre for diesel.
The supermarket says it's the first time in three months that diesel has fallen below the £1.30 price barrier.
Earlier this month, Asda, Morrisons, Sainsbury’s and Tesco cut fuel prices by 3p per litre.

Average petrol prices now stand at 126.8p a litre for unleaded and 135.6p a litre for diesel, according to petrol price comparison website PetrolPrices.com.
