Best Christmas Eve boxes for kids from Home Bargains to Wilko and The Works

CHRISTMAS Eve boxes are a great way to keep kids entertained as they wait for Santa – and we’ve rounded up the best ones.

It'll generally cost more for ones that are ready-filled, but you're paying for the luxury of not having to fill up the box yourself.

For ones that come empty, you can control the cost of filling it – plus, you can personalise it with exactly what your little one will love.

But you can save even more cash by ditching the box altogether and picking one or two individual Christmas goodies to give to your child.

Popular items that are often put inside Christmas Eve boxes include sweets, cookies for Santa and games to keep kids occupied.

We've split up our top picks into boxes that are already filled, empty ones, plus alternatives to your standard Christmas Eve box.
