Carrie Underwood’s husband Mike Fisher turns ‘Before He Cheats’ into parody about hunting

Apparently, Carrie Underwood isn’t the only singer in her family – although husband Mike Fisher should probably leave the vocal duties to her.

Appearing on “Entertainment Tonight” Monday, Fisher, a Canadian who retired from the NHL earlier this year, revealed that he had put his own outdoorsy spin on Underwood’s 2006 hit “Before He Cheats” with a deer-themed parody of the song, titled “Before She Bleats,” to promote his hunting apparel brand, Catchin’ Deers.

In the accompanying music video, Fisher walks through the woods and fires at his prey, singing lines like “Right now he’s probably out grazing with a corn-fed doe and it’s probably getting frisky.”

“I think most people know (Underwood’s) not a hunting fan, so I think she wanted to be able to plead the fifth and then be surprised,” Fisher said about surprising his wife with the song. “We just wanted to have fun with it (and) obviously showcase my vocal talent.”
