Cheltenham Festival 2019 runners and riders: Hot favourite Champ heads a field of 16 for the Ballymore Novices' Hurdle

Nicky Henderson's seven-year-old has been at the head of the betting since winning the Challow Hurdle in December.

The leading Irish contender is Battleoverdoyen, who will represent Gordon Elliott and leading owners Gigginstown House Stud.

The rapidly progressive City Island has been declared by Grand National-winning trainer Martin Brassil.

Olly Murphy's Brewin'upastorm and the Dan Skelton-trained Beakstown add further depth to the British challenge.

Ben Pauling sent out Willoughby Court to win this race in 2017 and he will be represented by Bright Forecast this term.
