COSTCO’s is stocking its shelves with large bottles of egg nog ready for Christmas.
Over the years, you may have seen the traditional holiday egg nog wine liqueur, which is written on the label as “made with real dairy cream, whiskey, spiced rum, brandy and french vanilla.”
This 1.5 liter bottle of creamy joy is best served with ice and contains 13.9 percent alcohol volume.
Instagrammers were excited about the creamy wine liqueur on Costcobuys post, saying: “I can taste this now'', “I'm going to freeze it and make ice cream”, and “My 96 year old father loves this”.
Costco is selling these giant bottles of boozy egg nog for only $8.99 (£6.97) per bottle.
Egg nog is historically known as milk punch or egg milk punch and it is a rich, chilled, sweetened, dairy-based beverage.
It is traditionally made with milk, cream, sugar, whipped egg whites, and egg yolks.
Elsewhere on the US market, Walmart is selling a 750ml bottle for $8.98 (£6.98).
Whilst Mr. Boston is stocking the creamy 750 ml sensation for $5.99 (£4.66).
Both of these US retailers' bottles of egg nog wine liqueur contain 30 proof, which means they contain 15 percent alcohol by volume.
The US Dietary Guidelines for Americans recommends that if alcohol is consumed, it should be consumed in moderation – up to one drink per day for women and two drinks per day for men – and only by adults of legal drinking age.
