One Instagrammer has created every Disney fan's dream by turning her bathroom into a mermaid's lair.
Interior design fanatic Mel Hamblett transformed the plain new build bathroom in her property into the most colourful and extra Disney-inspired bathroom you've probably ever seen.
Mel's new bathroom features colourful rainbow fish-inspired floor tiles, as well as a mermaid wall features and colourful wall art.
It also includes hot pink bathroom tiles, mint green walls and a seashell-pattered cupboard.
She also added some LED strip lights as a late edition – making it even more eye-catching.
The design lover was seen posing happily in her new bathroom as she wore a stripy jumper which was just as bright as her new bathroom.
The influencer shared snaps of her new creation with the followers of her Instagram account awholenewbuild, and they were loving the design.
Her post read: "Because a mermaid bathroom wasn't theatrical enough, I added some LED strip lights this week and look how blummin happy I am about it.
"Had my first bath under the sea last night and it was so nice and relaxing."
She also previously told followers: "Six months ago I painted this room bright yellow but never really warmed to it.
"After being inspired by the epic mermaid bathroom over at @homeofgetkooky and the pastel Queen @paintthetownpastel, my very understanding husband told me I could do what I wanted in here, so now I have a shrine to ma girl, Ariel!"
Many of Mel's 4,036 Instagram followers were wowed by her bathroom transformation as they left gushing comments.
One exclaimed: "Oh my goodness, this is the most beautiful bathroom I have ever seen. Look at that flooring. Absolutely in love."
While another added: "Ahhhh WOW! Love everything about this!!"
A third chimed in: "Aww, it’s totally amazing."
Talking more about her bathroom to Drench.co.uk, Mel explained "Originally a standard magnolia new build bathroom with no character, I knew I wanted to create a relaxing space that was still fun and whimsical.
"Themed around my favourite film, The Little Mermaid, I searched for pastel pink and mint shades to paint the walls and tiles, then created accents of gold on the taps, wall art and accessories.

"The bespoke floor was then colour-matched to the paint colours I had chosen by @forthefloorandmore to really bring the room and mermaid theme together.”
Dominic Lees-Bell, Interior Design Specialist at Drench, added: “We love what Mel has done with her once plain bathroom.
"She has transformed it into something so quirky and fun yet kept so on-trend. It’s so great to see that she has used more than half of our 2021 bathroom predictions within her design.”
The Drench 2021 bathroom predictions include pink being a big bathroom trend for 2021 and more plants in bathrooms as people bring the outside in.
