She started her career in a reality TV show starring people no-one had ever heard of on a little-watched channel.

And now 30-year-old Sam Faiers has landed her first film role alongside five-year-old son Paul.

The family duo will join a star-studded cast including Jimmy Kimmel, Dax Shepard and Randall Park, in voiceover roles for the upcoming animated Paw Patrol movie, which is set to premiere in August.

Faiers was one of the original TOWIE cast members alongside Mark Wright, Amy Childs and Lauren Goodger.

In October 2010, she appeared in the first episode and in total, starred in eleven series of the show.

During her time on the hit ITVBe show, Faiers enjoyed a brief romance with Michelle Keegan’s now-husband Mark as well as a more serious relationship with Joey Essex.

And while she may have said goodbye to TOWIE in 2014, the only way has been up ever since.

Alongside her sister Billie Shepherd, the 30-year-old has just quit her own reality spin-off, The Mummy Diaries, which she starred in alongside her partner Paul Knightley, a former estate agent, and their two kids Paul and Rosie.

Sam netted £350,000 from series four, five and six of the show, which details her experiences of motherhood, and when ITVBe recommissioned the series in a deal worth a further £250,000, her wealth rocketed to an estimated £8.8million.

Since Sam left TOWIE, she has appeared on Celebrity Big Brother and launched clothing lines with Very, Quiz and River Island.

She has a home-furnishings range, her own fragrance and skincare line, and has written several books, the latter of which has earned her at least £750,000.

In 2019, Sam signed a £250,000 advertising deal with nappy brand Pampers and experts reckon she pockets upwards of £10,000 for a post to plug products on Instagram, where she has 2.5million followers.

Other ventures include a fashion brand, co-run with partner Paul, as well as a babywear and gifts range, My Little Darlin. Those businesses were expected to turn over a combined £1.2million last year.

Faiers has made guest appearances on chat shows such as Loose Women, This Morning and Daybreak.

She was a panellist on the fifth episode of series eight of Shooting Stars and starred on the eleventh series of The Real Hustle, going undercover as a bitter ex-wife to help the Hustlers con a mark.

Faiers has also been a panellist on Celebrity Juice twice.

Shortly before lockdown the family moved into a £2.25million, five-bedroom home in Surrey.
