A lingerie photo from Erika Jayne apparently wasn’t on many fans’ holiday wish lists.
The 49-year-old “RHOBH” star received backlash from fans on Tuesday after posting a sexy photo promoting Rihanna’s Savage X Fenty brand amid her divorce from husband Tom Girardi and ongoing legal battles.
In the controversial post, the newly single star poses in front of palm trees in a lavender lingerie set, sheer black gloves and silver heels.
“Put me on your wishlist,” she captioned the shot.
While some complimented the steamy look — including supermodel Lily Aldridge and designer Marc Jacobs — the post was soon flooded with comments calling the photo “tone-deaf” in light of Jayne and her estranged husband’s legal situation.
Earlier this month, the former couple was sued by class-action firm Edelson PC on behalf of several Boeing plane crash victims for allegedly embezzling money meant for victims of Lion Air Flight 610 and attempting to hide it with a “sham” divorce. The judge in that case ordered Girardi’s and his firm’s assets frozen on Monday.
Commenters were quick to bring up the lawsuit, with one responding, “The only thing on my wishlist is for you to pay back the money you embezzled from the plane crash victims families.” Another joked, “The IRS can’t freeze the assets called THOSE LEGS.”
Others trolled Jayne in more festive fashion. “Sirens ring are you listening? In the snow, cuffs are glistening…a beautiful site, happy tonight, walking in a BH county jail,” one person commented, while another observed, “More like the Naughty list honey.”
While Jayne once sung about her “XXpen$ive” lifestyle, 81-year-old Girardi — who is also being sued by his former law partner — is reportedly broke.
Girardi’s lawyers claim that he was hospitalized in recent months due to a “serious illness,” causing a “mistake” where some victims’ families didn’t receive full payment.
“RHOBH” is currently in production, and it remains to be seen whether the legal battle will play out on the “Bravo” show.
A rep for Jayne declined to comment.
