Lifestyle and fitness coach Zoa Linsey admits she's inundated with thousands of messages from male fans who admire her fit physique.

She's been shocked by some of their kinky requests – including fetishism and humiliation.

The 49-year-old from Vancouver, British Colombia, Canada, fell in love with sport and fitness when she was at university, admitting she loved the thrill of training hard and pushing her body to its limits.

Exercise became Zoa's release as she struggled to come to terms with her parents' divorce but sadly during this time – but she also battled disordered eating at the time.

Thankfully, her passion for weightlifting saved her life and she started lifting seriously in 1993.

It was then she realised food was her friend and that she needed it to fuel her workouts.

Zoa's passion for weightlifting was kicked up a notch in 2009 when she achieved her pro card and started to compete on the bodybuilding world stage.

She has competed in the Ms Olympia and Ms International bodybuilding competitions and due to her success on the bodybuilding world stage, she has earned herself thousands of admirers.

The gym bunny admitted she gets tons of attention from male fans – and although she cannot blame them for finding the muscular form attractive, she ignores them and doesn't write back.

According to Zoa, 98% of the messages she receives are from men wishing to engage in muscle admiration fetish and want her to dominate and humiliate them for sexual pleasure.

Despite this, she said she loves being an inspiration to other fans and always has time for people who say they have been inspired or feel motivated by her fitness journey.

She commented: "There are always going to be people who are on social media for their own gratification so that is not a problem. I just don't focus on that or try to tailor my life to get that response. I am an athlete.

"My whole Instagram box is full of tens of thousands of messages – literally. I just ignore them. If someone is polite and says something nice or related to how they are motivated I respond. Other than that, they stay in that mailbox.

"About 98% are all from men wishing to engage in some kind of admiration, flirtation or looking for a paid sexual relationship…

"The ones who start conversations with sexual comments such as using explicit body parts or describing what they would do to me with their body parts in detail on a first conversation amaze me that people think that is ok – but I think that's what Instagram is for a lot of men. Just a place to admire women."

She also said many men want to pay for sexual content from her, but that she is not willing to go down that route.

Zoa added: "There are the serious muscle admirers (schmoes) as well as the serious fetish fans who want me to dominate them. They look for a person to humiliate them or degrade them and they write in great detail what they'd like me to do. Positioning, payment, what their turn on is.

"Many of these men are wanting to pay for videos, photos or subscribe to a more explicit fan site.

"I don't judge their tastes just it's not my desire to provide that type of material. If someone is polite and I have time I will respond. I also try to respond to all the females who may be looking for advice and any person who may have a comment or question about fitness. Just not about having sex with me or what not.

"I am not upset or disgusted by that. I consider everyone 'fans.' I just don't try to get more reactions or engage in conversations."

Typically, Zoa lifts weights five times a week and gets her cardio in by walking her pets twice a day.

When she is in preparing for a competition, she has to practice posing and costumes and meal preps for the week every Sunday to fit everything into her schedule.

She gets up at 3:30am each day to ensure she has time to train also for up to two hours.

Zoa commented: "People who step into my lifestyle do not understand that I prep all my food for the week. I plan my meals and when I go out or enjoy relaxing meals, I fully understand what the food is that I'm eating.

"I am a walking food encyclopaedia. Much like anyone who has mastered their trade, this is second nature for me now. The other thing is smart and hard training. Since I have been in my early twenties, I have spent a couple hours a week training legs and lower body."

Right now, she weighs 11st 11lb and says she's happy with her physique. Zoa claims she is focused on staying symmetrical and not getting bigger.
