A Guide to the Many, Many Celebrity Babies of 2018 (So Far)

Given how 2017 ended, we should have seen it coming: After a naïve launch into what would turn out to be months and months and months of rumors about Khloé Kardashian and Kylie Jenner's (eventually confirmed) pregnancies, a year of full of even more celebrity babies was practically guaranteed. In true form as America's queen mother, Kim Kardashian led the way with the birth of Chicago West in January, after which came her sisters' children, Stormi Webster and True Thompson. Outside of the Kardashian clan, Hollywood, fashion, and even the monarchy all seem to have suddenly multiplied, too, thanks to newborns like Kirsten Dunst and Jesse Plemons's son; Behati Prinsloo and Adam Levine's daughter; and, of course, Kate Middleton and Prince William's son Prince Louis. (At this point, even the world's most famous "boy," Nicholas Hoult, is now a dad.) No worries if you're having trouble keeping up; here's a handy list to the most famous new arrivals this year, so far.

Canon Curry

Basketball player Stephen Curry and his wife Ayesha Curry's third child, a boy named Canon, was born on July 2nd. The couple revealed the news on Instagram later that week.

Roman Alexander-Raj Smith

Ever since his wife Crystal Smith delivered Roman Alexander-Raj Smith, her second child—following another son named Prince—with Ne-Yo. He now has four kids in total, and already isn't opposed to a fifth, telling Us Weekly, "if wifey decides she wants to go through that again, I’m not gonna stand in her way."

Thrilled to announce we welcomed a brand new baby girl into the world Friday morning, just in time for #FathersDay ? These last few days, as I’ve enjoyed the privilege of making smoothies I know my older kids will like, making my wife red raspberry leaf tea to ease her uterine contractions, spending “boy time” with my son and getting my two year-old down for a nap in the way only I know how… I’ve been heart sick about something. As I write this, kids are being ripped from the arms of their parents. By our government. For the kid’s benefit? No – the opposite – as a purposeful display of cruelty to deter would-be illegal border crossers AND legal asylum seekers (it’s happening to both). And it wouldn’t be honest to wax poetic about my new-baby bliss without speaking up against this atrocity. If we allow our government to de-humanize fathers, and mothers, and children in the name of defending our borders… we’ve lost a huge part what makes those borders worth defending. And even if you don’t believe in karma, or in extending basic human decency to people who didn’t win the geographic birth lottery… even if you’re hard-liner enough to say, “Break the law, suffer the consequences,” shouldn’t the punishment at least fit the crime? And if you’re still cold enough to say, “Well, it’s effective,” consider this: This heinous practice was put into place by our own attorney general (who justified it with a cherry-picked Bible verse), and our president blamed rivals before tweeting his list of legislative demands to be met before he stops it. Regardless of how you feel about immigration, or a wall, or this president… if we say we’re okay with our government using human rights violations as a deterrent or as a bargaining chip… what happens when we find ourselves on the wrong side of the agenda? Either in this administration or the next? This should not be a political issue – it’s a human one. A crime against humanity is a crime against us all. More info in link in my bio. Oh, and @vanderkimberly – you’re a f*cking earth goddess rock star and I’m as in awe of you as I am in love with you. And our new baby’s name is Gwendolyn ❤️ #HappyFathersDay everybody.

Walter Jones O’Shea

In early June, in Berlin, Veronika Heilbrunner gave birth to her first child with her husband and fellow street-style star Justin O'Shea. Here, he celebrates his first Father's Day on their son's Tiffany & Co. baby nap mat—an auspicious sign that the family's fashion legacy will continue.

Jayden Meeks-Green

Watch out, Jaden Smith—there's a new Jayden in town. That's as of the end of May, when the Topshop heiress Chloe Green gave birth to her first child, a baby boy, with Jeremy Meeks, aka the Hot Felon, whom she's been dating since last May.

Sebastian Piers Williams

Just before May came to an end, as she put it, two became three for America Ferrera and her husband Ryan Piers Williams; she announced the birth of their son Sebastian Piers Williams on May 29—along with the fact that they've already nicknamed him Baz.

Kate Middleton shut down London for a day this April when she gave birth to His Royal Highness Prince Louis of Cambridge, her third child with Prince William, whom Princess Charlotte has certainly taken to.

Nicholas Hoult and Bryana Holly's Son

There's no better proof that Nicholas Hoult, the boy who starred in About a Boy has moved on from his childhood days, than the fact that as of this spring, he's now a dad, having had a child with his girlfriend, the model Bryana Holly.

True Thompson

Where to begin with Khloé Kardashian's baby, True Thompson? After months and months of rumors—and a last-minute, action-packed scandal with her NBA star boyfriend, Tristan Thompson, Kardashian gave birth in April, in Cleveland.

Rachel McAdams and Jamie Linden's Son

Though she's managed to keep it entirely out of the spotlight, Rachel McAdams reportedly gave birth to a baby with her boyfriend, the screenwriter Jamie Linden, some time before April of this year. (They've kept things so under the wraps, in fact, that they have yet to make a requisite couple appearance on the red carpet.)

Axel Strahl Meyers

The birth of Seth Meyers and Alexi Ashe's second child together didn't go quite as smoothly as the first; Ashe actually delivered Axel Strahl Meyers this May in the lobby of their apartment building.
