Halsey and G-Eazy recently announced their breakup after about a year of being one of Hollywood’s most loved-up couples, and it looks like the split is taking its toll.
TMZ reports that Halsey broke down crying—or more specifically, became “noticeably teary eyed—” while performing the song “Sorry” on Friday night at the Common Ground Music Festival in Lansing, Michigan.
A fan recorded a video of the emotional moment, where Halsey can be seen welling up while singing the lyrics “someone will love you.”
Halsey announced her split from G-Eazy in an Instagram Story, saying “G-Eazy and I are taking some time apart. I’m eager to continue the upcoming passage of time dedicating myself to my art and my career and the duration of my tour. I wish him the best. Thanks for respecting our privacy at this time.”
The pair were together for a year and released the song “Him & I” in 2017.
