How Mrs Hinch’s love for husband Jamie blossomed as star plans more babies

Mrs Hinch has garnered 3.6 million followers by sharing cleaning tips on Instagram.

But her handy hacks aren’t the only reason why fans love her.

Over the years, they’ve grown to adore Sophie Hinchcliffe – who is the person behind the popular page.

Many tune into her Instagram stories to see what she’s getting up to and some of her most popular content revolves around family life with her husband Jamie.

So who is Mr Hinch and how did the couple’s romance blossom?

Thankfully for us, Sophie has spoken about her relationship journey over the years. Here’s what she’s said.

How Mr and Mrs Hinch met

Mrs Hinch had various jobs before she became an internet celebrity.

These include roles as a nursery assistant, waitress and call centre employee.

But it was her job in sales that has a soft spot in her heart.

It was here that she met her husband Jamie – and he was in charge of training her.

Sophie noticed a connection with her colleague.

And after a few months of flirting, they realised their relationship was more than friendship.

Jamie plucked up the courage to ask Sophie out, which is where their romance began.

In her Hinch Yourself Happy book, Mrs Hinch gushed: "I wanted to scream I was so excited”.

First house

After years of renting and trying to save enough money for their home, the pair finally achieved their goals.

They were delighted to move in together in Maldon, Essex.

And the milestone is significant to Sophie for another reason too.

Shortly after becoming a property owner, she decided to set up her popular Instagram page.

In her book, Mrs Hinch revealed: “The whole Insta craziness began when Jamie and I moved into our house in July 2016.

“It is the first place we’ve owned and we saved up for it for so long.

“Renting and saving at the same time is so hard!

“I really enjoyed making our house into our home so I started taking loads of progress photos – pictures of things I’d bought and showing how I’d decorate each room.

“But I got to the stage where I felt like I was bombarding my family and friends with them.

“I was worried I was posting all the time and boring people, so I set up a separate Instagram account purely for my home.”

The proposal

A year after moving in together, Sophie and Jamie tied the knot.

He planned a romantic date for their anniversary, which included a ride in a helicopter.

Mrs Hinch told Gosfield Hall: “On the morning before the proposal he said he had a small anniversary surprise date for me, which he had done each year for our anniversary, so I was excited but a proposal didn’t cross my mind.

“I had no idea where we were heading but we pulled up to what I can only describe as a huge field, fairly empty and I was just really confused!

“But then down came a helicopter!”

She added: “As we were coming in to land he had then arranged for both our immediate families to gather together ready for our landing.

“Together our families held a large banner “Sophie will you marry me” I turned back to look at him and he was down on one knee.

“The most amazing proposal with our families there.

“We all then went for a celebration meal together as one big family and I loved it.”

The wedding

In August 2018, Sophie and Jamie Hinchcliffe married in Godfield Hall in Essex.

The former royal residence, in rural Essex, was the perfect backdrop to their traditional day.

Mrs Hinch chose a Madam Burco dress, which gave her a “Cinderella moment”.

It was the biggest dress in the shop and made her feel “The best (she) ever felt in (her) life”.

The happy couple posed for stunning pictures, before enjoying a delicious meal and dancing the night away.

Pregnancy news

In December 2018, Sophie told her Instagram followers that she was pregnant.

She shared a sweet snap with Jamie, where she showed their dog Henry a baby scan picture.

Mrs Hinch later posted the picture on Instagram, alongside the caption: “My Hinchers.

“Mr Hinch and I have been keeping a little secret.”

She added: “All of our Christmas wishes have come true, our mini Hinch will soon be due.

“Henry is going to be the best big brother ever!

“I hope you’ve all had the most magical Christmas Day.”

Baby Ronnie

Six months later, baby Ronnie was welcomed to the world.

The parents were delighted – and Jamie took to Instagram to share the news.

He wrote: "Hello Hinchers… Mr Hinch here.

“Yesterday, the 20th June 2019, at 4.11am, I watched my wife, the love of my life, bring our beautiful son, Ronnie James George Hinchliffe into the world, weighing in at 6lbs 1 oz.

“I didn’t think I could love Soph any more than I already do, but I was so very wrong.

“For once, I am completely lost for words.”

He added: “All I can say is thank you for your unbelievable kindness, loyalty and the most pure and genuine love we both feel from you all.

“I know you’ll understand that we’ll be quiet for a while whilst we take these precious moments in and enjoy our baby bubble.

“I will be spending today and the rest of my life caring for, looking after and protecting my beautiful wife and son. Ronnie, our darling boy, we love you more than we ever knew possible.

"Henry, time to be the best big brother ever my boy. Soph… your three handsomes love you and I am so so proud of you."

Future plans

Sophie talked about future plans in an Instagram Q&A.

She responded to a fan, who asked: “What’s your dream for the future?”

And to everyone’s delight, the 30-year-old admitted she wanted to have more children.

Mrs Hinch revealed: “My future dreams are to have more children, live happily and healthily, see more of the world and launch my own Hinch range of all things home.”
