This Morning presenter Phillip Schofield, 58, has opened up on his family life following the release of his new book, Life’s What You Make It.
The star is very close with his wife Stephanie Lowe, who supported his decision to publicly come out as gay earlier this year.
Allegedly the silver fox will be splitting his £9 million fortune with his wife, and their priority is their two grown up daughters, Molly and Ruby.
Speaking to The Sun, an insider claimed: “Phillip and Steph have had a lot of hard, painful conversations over the past ten months but remain as tight and devoted to one another as ever.
“She has been so supportive, and he won’t skip off into the sunset now and abandon her. At the same time, he has no desire to become embroiled in a bitter and costly divorce battle.”
They continued: “Phillip is in no hurry to meet someone new, but obviously the D-word [divorce] has now been mooted, albeit in very loose and casual terms.”
However, one asset that will probably have to be divided is their stunning family home in Oxfordshire.
Reports have already suggested that the star is building an annex on the grounds of the property to stay in.
The presenter often posts pictures of his stunning house to Instagram and has revealed much of his stylish interiors and amazing garden when filming scenes for How To Spend it Well at Christmas on ITV.
Let’s take a look inside…
Phillip’s vast living room is the perfect place to unwind; it is spacious and stylish with a neutral colour scheme. Beige carpet, a grey sofa with different through pillows and wooden furniture give the room a calming vibe. There are also many candles and lamps around to add low-lit light.
The handsome star certainly is not afraid of bold prints, as this snap shows. Suit aside, the presenter has a statement pattern on his curtains in the living room. The room also has an antique wooden desk topped with family photos and a traditional clock.
Christmas obviously doesn’t go under the radar at the Schofield residence as this whopping tree shows. The conservatory is large with stone flooring and floor to ceiling windows as well as a wooden coffee table that holds a selection of candles.
Phillip shared a video of himself testing out a mini speedboat, and inadvertently offered us a glimpse of the tasteful hallway. The wooden panelling on the walls has been painted a muted grey colour. There is also a great sculpture of a bird as well as a mirror and a pin-board hanging on the wall.
The living room is vibrant and eclectic, and looks fantastic. The grey sofa is adorned with an array of Aztec-style cushions in green, yellow and blue. There are also numerous ornaments and plants on the windowsill, as well as a tripod navy blue lamp and organic looking wall art.
Phillip’s kitchen has a cream AGA oven which is the height of countryside chic, and coordinates with the cream painted brick walls. Additionally, there are black glossy worktops and, most importantly, a large glass of red wine in the foreground of the shot.
This screenshot of a video, filmed in the conservatory, offers an insight into their garden which had a large trampoline in it. Bet Phil loves a relaxing bounce…
When the couple filmed their home for How to Spend it Well at Christmas they showed off their large lawn that was covered in a magical selection of festive lights and models including unicorns and snowmen.
