Hello from Marbs!

As I write my column, I’m in Marbella and I’m having an amazing time. At first, it was just me and Ryan and then my friend Danielle Brown and her partner Ty joined us for a couple of days, too.

It was Ryan’s 34th birthday last week. We went to Nikki Beach and had some food and a few drinks, but it wasn’t a big night. I was in bed by 10pm. It’s been so nice for Ryan and me to have some quality time together.

We’ve also been viewing villas while we’ve been out here. Our estate agent, Liam from Crystal Shore Properties, is helping us find our dream home. There are some really lovely options. We don’t plan on moving here until next year, but it’s been nice to get a feel for what we want and what we don’t want. I’m feeling very excited.

Body Battle

I haven't been feeling body confident during my holiday. I've been open about my struggles before – I don't feel comfortable in my own skin at the minute. My legs feel swollen and I just feel a bit gross.

But actually, I've realised that I put a lot of pressure on myself to look a certain way. When I look around, there are people of all different shapes and sizes. I struggle because Ryan is more that seven years younger than me, which makes me feel a bit insecure. He's never given me any reason to think that way – it's all in my own head.

I'm still recovering from my breast reduction, too. I'm really happy with how it's going but I can't get back to training until I'm full healed.

Like Mother, Like Daughter

Lilly and Ryan joined me in Manchester’s Gay Village for my gig. It was such a fun night! The crowd were loving it and it’s actually the first time Ryan has ever seen me perform Atomic Kitten songs live.

He was grinning from ear to ear! He kept telling me how amazing I was. He was my biggest cheerleader, as was Lilly. I even got Lilly up on the stage to join me singing Whole Again. She was a big hit.

Cheeky Prince Louis

Prince Louis stole the show at the Platinum Jubilee Pageant. The photos of him pulling faces and being cheeky did make me laugh. It was nice to see because it’s completely normal for a child to behave like that. My kids certainly have!

He’s only four – what do you expect? He probably had a long day and was fed up, bless him. He did so well sitting through it all without a tablet in his hands. Honestly, my kids would have a fit!

It's Good to Talk

Denise Van Outen has revealed she’s trying therapy for the first time, following her break-up with Eddie Boxshall. I know Denise and she’s a great woman. I think therapy will be really good for her – everyone would benefit from therapy.

No matter how amazing you think your life is, I believe that having therapy is a must. You’ll be so shocked at how it makes you feel and how it changes everything for you. It’s not something to be ashamed of – it’s amazing.
