KFC has just added a new item to its secret menu.
Customers can create their own “Popcorn Chicken Slab” by ordering the bite-sized treats with a burger bun.
A slice of melted cheese and oodles of barbecue sauce complete the dish, which is a fun alternative to a traditional burger.
KFC Australia unveiled the menu item on Instagram, writing: “Rip into the Popcorn Chicken Slab.
“Grab six Dinner Rolls that are loaded with Popcorn Chicken and drizzled with BBQ and cheese sauce… OH MY SLAB.”
It’s safe to say fast food fans were very excited by creation as the post garnered more than 9,700 likes.
Many took the time to leave gushing comments too.
One Instagram user wrote: “OK I need this now.”
Another said: “This looks incredible.”
A third commented: “What a time to be alive!”
And a fourth added: “This is naughty.”
The menu item was created in Australia, but you should still be able to make something similar in the UK.
Your server may be a little baffled if you ask for a Popcorn Chicken Slab, so try to order the elements separately.
Simply ask for Popcorn Chicken, a bun, a slice of cheese and sauce of your choice.
