Lauren Jauregui New Music; Debuts Solo Songs Expectations, Toy, Inside on Halsey Tour

Lauren Jauregui‘s new music might be coming sooner than you thought!

Fifth Harmony‘s indefinite hiatus may have just begun, but members of the former girl group aren’t slowing down any time soon. This week, Lauren revealed that she performed not one, not two, but THREE brand-new songs on Halsey‘s Hopeless Fountain Kingdom Tour stop in Sao Paulo.

One fan managed to capture Lauren’s performance of one song called “Expectations” during the show, and after hearing this new single, we can officially confirm that the world NEEDS Lauren’s solo album ASAP.

After the show, Lauren did a mini Q&A session on Twitter, where she shared fan reactions and even answered questions about the new songs. She revealed in a tweet that the new songs are titled as follows: “Toy,” “Inside” and “Expectations.” And when one fan asked Lauren if she wrote these tunes, she tweeted back, “Wrote them all from scratch.”

Aside from all of the questions, fans had nothing but amazing things to say about Lauren’s latest tracks. One fan wrote, “I fell asleep with Expectations playing in my head. I woke up with Expectations playing in my head. I took a shower singing Expectations. I was eating and Expectations came into my head AGAIN. Sis, what have you done with me?”

A few other fans shared just how much these new songs meant to them. One fan wrote, “Inside has meant a lot to me and I look forward to hearing the studio version, the lyrics touched my soul and made me feel so many things.” While another tweeted, “Toy is the first song I’ve heard and it isn’t a sad song but I literally cried while listening to it like, that’s my freaking fave right there. I’m just SO proud right now. I’m so happy that I’m here since the beginning and to watch you prospering is everything.”

Judging by all of these reactions, Lauren stans are SO here for this new chapter in her life AND her upcoming solo album.
