London takeaway beer: Where can you get a draught pint in London? Full list

Several pubs and breweries in the UK have come up with innovative new ways to ensure their customers are still a getting a pint. This move is partly to make sure pubs are earning some money after being closed for so many months, and also to preserve the amounts of beer that has been left unsold since the lockdown began.

Where can you get a draught pint in London?

Emma McClarkin, Chief Executive of the British Beer and Pub Association explained the reason why pubs are able to sell takeaway pints.

Ms McClarkin said: “Pubs need to be licensed for off-sales in order to sell beer for consumption off their premises. Many pubs will already have this licence.

“However, for this who didn’t have the necessary licence before the lockdown, pubs can apply for it and licensing committees are typically granting these application.

“Off sales are a vital source of revenue for the pubs that have the necessary licence, but as the lockdown lifts and Britain’s pubs reopen, I am sure customers across the country will want to enjoy a pint in the pub.”
