If you’ve been on social media at all recently, chances are good that you’ve seen at least one or two examples of the Matilda Challenge, and if not, let us be the ones to tell you… it’s incredible. As all Matilda fans will remember, there’s an iconic scene from the 1996 flick in which Matilda is first discovering her telekinetic powers by dancing around her house and moving things with her mind. In the movie, this scene is set to the song “Little Bitty Pretty One” by Thurston Harris, and now, 22 years later, it’s become the latest viral dance challenge.
That’s right, fam! People all over the world have been uploading videos on social media of themselves moving things with the point of a finger (and, yes, a little help from their closest friends). People have truly thought of everything, including moving houseplants, couch pillows, and brooms. Some people even managed to find a way to get their kitchen utensils to float in midair! At this point, we can’t stop watching all of these incredible Matilda Challenges, and after you see these 15, we don’t think you’ll be able to stop either:
