Michaels is selling an ombre Christmas tree for $55 – The Sun

FORGET traditional Christmas trees, Michaels is bringing out its ombre coloured Christmas tree in time for the festive season.

You can get your hands on this chic purchase for $55 (£42.59), saving you $75 (£58.08).

The 6ft pre-lit champagne coloured Alexa artificial Christmas tree comes with 347 branch tips and 150 clear incandescent lights.

Unfortunately, you can’t buy Michaels ombre tree in store but it is available to purchase online.

But there’s a five year warranty for the tree and two year warranty for the lights.

One happy customer gave the ombre coloured tree five stars on Michaels website, saying: “Beautiful tree! It’s kind of peachy pink at bottom and fades to an antique silver with gold undertones. Can’t wait to put it up again this year!”

While another says: “My tree is beautiful, it has a very slight lean to it, but it’s possible that is from my floor or ability to put the tree together.

“And it's not super pink, but it is still a gorgeous tree with ornaments and light on it really shines and glows. Looks very fancy for the great price (got mine 60 per cent off). It is a slim tree but has a nice height.”

We shopped around and found that Walmart is selling a pricey 6ft frosted buttercream slim tree with 300 clear lights for $150.63 (£116.60).

This is not a cheap option since you would be spending nearly three times more than Michaels’ version.

We also noticed that Target is stocking a 6ft champagne tinsel artificial pencil tree for $47.50 (£36.78), which is £6 cheaper than Michaels one.

Michaels standard shipping starts from $6.95 (£5.38) for products priced between $0 to 14.99 and ends at $17.95 (£13.89) for items costing anything between $200 (£154.77) upwards.

Your order will be free to click and collect if you pick it up in store.

Don’t forget that you can find your nearest store by using the online store finder.
