Prince Andrew has shared a behind-the-scenes snap from a Buckingham Palace event – after Princess Eugenie revealed she was scolded for her ‘off-limits’ snap.
The Duke of York, 58, took a photograph of the audience from the stage of [email protected] event in the Buckingham Palace ballroom on Thursday night.
The image was shared on the Royal Family Twitter account, along with the caption: ‘A photograph taken by @TheDukeOfYork of this evening’s #PitchAtPalace final audience as they experiment with Augmented Royalty!’
It comes after Andrew’s youngest daughter Princess Eugenie, 28, raised eyebrows after sharing a picture of her father from a private area inside Buckingham Palace after Trooping The Colour earlier this year.

The photograph of the audience, who were trying out AR technology, was shared on the Royal Family Twitter account
While Prince Andrew has his own Twitter account, The Duke Of York, this is believed to be the first time he has shared one of his own photographs on social media.
The image showed audience members on their mobile phones, as they tried out AR technology during the event.

The [email protected] event saw over 40 entrepreneurs pitch their business ideas to an influential audience, including the Duke of York.
The photograph shared on the Royal Family account comes after Eugenie raised eyebrows by sharing a picture of Andrew on Instagram, taken in private part of Buckingham Palace after Trooping the Colour in July.

Eugenie, 28, revealed she ‘got in trouble for posting a picture of Papa in a corridor of the palace that was off-limits to the public’
In an interview with Vogue, Eugenie later revealed she had got into trouble for sharing the picture with her 288,000 Instagram followers.
‘I recently got in trouble for posting a picture of Papa in a corridor of the palace that was off-limits to the public,’ she said.
In the offending photo, Andrew looked smart in his regimental uniform following his Trooping The Colour debut as Colonel of the Grenadier Guards.
The corridor, lined with marble busts and a plush red carpet, was hung with paintings including one depicting the wedding of Princess Maud of Wales, a granddaughter of Queen Victoria.
