The 150 stores opening are around 15 percent of the brand’s UK stores.

Mostly drive thrus will be opening, although some stores are opening on a take-away only basis.

What is more, the stores are only accepting payments on card, contactless and app payments – no cash.

Starbucks said: “All stores will be serving a near-complete beverage menu, with everything from Lattes to Cappuccinos, Iced Coffees and Teas to Frappuccinos.

“Food will also be on offer but with a slightly more restricted menu, focused on our most popular items.”

The store said: “As a small gesture of gratitude for everything NHS workers have and continue to do, we’re offering a free Tall beverage of their choice at our stores.”

Starbucks said it has been “learning, testing and refining our operational standards every day”.

McDonald’s has reopened, so how can you get McDonald’s delivery? The only way to get your hands on McDonald’s currently is via Uber Eats.

However, many Britons have complained they are struggling to get their hands on the popular fast food.

A McDonald’s spokesperson said on Twitter: “Some of our restaurants are currently experiencing very high levels of orders and may not be able to facilitate all delivery requests and deliveries may become temporarily unavailable.

“Please do check back soon on UberEats.”
