Supreme & Vans Collaborate For The Most Underrated Summer Sneaker

Two weeks after releasing a line of sneakers with Nike, shoe giant Supreme has partnered with fellow shoe giant Vans to drop the newest editions of the latter’s Lampin and Sk8-Mid designs earlier this month.

According to a report from GQ, the news of this pairing between shoe companies could be seen as a little surprising to consumers and fashion experts since the Vans Old Skools are seen as the quintessential sneakers from the popular brand. So, it’d be natural for people to assume that that design would receive a reboot from Supreme. But with Supreme instead adding their signature touch to two of Vans’ less popular designs, they’ll breath in some much-needed life for both pairs of sneakers, as well as Vans as a brand.

The collection of sneakers feature premium croc-embossed suede and 12-wale corduroy uppers to create a sleek-looking design. They also include leather linings, vulcanized waffle outsoles, and the easily recognizable Supreme logo that you’ll wanna show off. They come in three vibrant yet unique color combinations that will not only work now during the summer months but also later when fall arrives all too soon.

These include fuchsia-and-red, powder blue-and-grey, and mustard-and-black. This means that there’ll be six different styles in three extremely different color schemes for consumers to browse through, try on, and later purchase from the popular shoe brands.

This collaboration between Vans and Supreme comes off the heels off the former’s newfound increase in popularity and more than a few high-profile collaborations with other brands. After all, Vans are still seen as the go-to shoe brand for all kinds of people—business casual folks, skaters, musicians, and many more. As a result, this collaboration was seen as highly anticipated by sneaker fanatics and fans of one or both shoe company. So if you want to buy a pair of sneakers from this collection, consumers are recommended to buy them fast before they sell out for good. Otherwise, you might miss out on the opportunity to purchase the most underrated sneakers of the summer.

The collection can be purchased both in-store and online via Supreme.
