TESCO has increased the maximum number of items shoppers can order for delivery from 80 to 85.
The supermarket has relaxed the rules slightly for shoppers ordering online.
The UK's biggest grocery chain brought in the 80 item limit for online orders at the end of March to help manage the increase in demand from shoppers.
The cap applies to online delivery and click and collect orders.
Its part of a number of rules imposed on shoppers since lockdown.
Tesco staff say they may also ask customers to wait in cars as part of their plan to manage number of customers in side stores.
The supermarket also recommends that customers are prepared for the varied British weather, by carrying bottles of water when it is warm and umbrellas if rain is forecast.
The supermarket has added thousands of hundreds of thousands of delivery slots and created a one-way system inside stores.

Tesco has also stopped selling dozens of different types of pick and mix sweets.
It has also launched a 50 per cent off sale on toys.
