Last year glitter boobs were the hottest festival look, but now a trend for stick-on gems for the derriere has sent shoppers into meltdown.
The Twitter account Mumsnet Madness shared a snap of a Primark mannequin in a blue swimsuit with an array of adhesive gems attached to its buttocks, which was originally posted on the British parenting site.
Another snap of the unusual accessory, designed to be worn on the bottom with a bikini or swimsuit, revealed the stick on body gems come in a packet labelled ‘Glitter Junkie’.
The odd snap captioned ‘Glittery a**e cheeks’ soon attracted a hundred likes and dozens of comments.
Questioning the comfort of the odd accessory, one follower wrote: ‘Imagine sitting on the poolside with one of these on – jaggy a**e!’.

The trend was first spotted in May, when Instagram saw an influx of bejewelled bottoms appearing on the picture sharing site.
Glitter brand Go Get Glitter has an Instagram page filled with images of people artfully covered in sparkles, and it looks like more and more women are ditching their pants in favour of bottoms made out of glitter.
The brand has even created their own designs, showcasing the bedazzled butts on social media.
