A new ‘smart’ face mask device championed by Victoria Beckham promises to give ‘spa-worthy’ facials in just 90 seconds.

The FOREO UFO mini, priced at £149, is a hi-tech device that you guide over your skin to apply a choice of face masks.

The device uses LED light therapy – which can boost collagen production and treat acne – as well as pulsations to boost the skin’s absorption of mask ingredients.

Models backstage at Victoria Beckham’s Spring/Summer 2018 show in London were given facial treatments using the UFO mini and an advanced mask called H20verdose.

Victoria Beckham (pictured in an Instagram snap ahead of catwalk show on Sunday) has been among the first to champion new ‘smart’ face mask device that promises to give ‘spa-worthy’ facials in just 90 seconds

A video of model Faretta Radic using the mask was shared on Instagram by Victoria on her official account ahead of her 10th anniversary show in London on Sunday.

The new device is a smaller version of FOREO’s UFO smart mask, which launched in April this year.

Victoria, 44, has been among the first to champion the new device, with the UFO device used to prep her models’ skin backstage at her New York Fashion Week show back in February.

The new UFO mini is compatible with a number of masks, including the ‘Make my day’ and ‘Call it a night’ masks, all sourced from Korea.

The hi-tech device, priced at £149, (above) uses LED light therapy, as well as pulsations to boost the skin’s absorption of mask ingredients as you run it over your skin

The H20verdose mask used backstage at Victoria Beckham is part of a new Advanced Mask ‘Rehab’ Collection, priced at £18.99 for six masks.

FOREO says that each treatment involves a carefully chosen combination of temperature and pulsation intensity for maximum effect, while also offering a ‘soothing facial massage’.

Foreo’s new UFO beauty device is said to offer spa-level treatment in just 90-seconds.

It uses LED light therapy, cryotherapy, thermo-therapy, and T-Sonic pulsations.

The heat works to open the pores, the firm explains, while the pulsations infuse the active ingredients more deeply into the skin.

Then, the cryotherapy seals the ingredients in, and firms the skin.

The LED lights are also said to work to stimulate the skin for a number of benefits, including anti-aging (red light), brightening (green light), and anti-acne (blue light).

Filip Sedic, CEO of FOREO, said: ‘When we first showcased the UFO behind the scenes at New York Fashion Week in February with the Victoria Beckham team, we demonstrated that the smallest packages really do make the biggest impact and a dedicated skincare regime can be easy, quick and convenient.

‘At the London show, we once again brought to life the unique skin care prep regime, prepping 30 models backstage as the skincare partner of choice before they proceeded to hair and makeup and showing how easy beauty technology can make one’s life.’

He continued: ‘By combining the very best of Korean sheet mask expertise with our Swedish beauty technology, we are changing the world of skincare as we know it.

‘To be the skincare company of choice at London Fashion Week amongst the world’s best makeup, hair and fashion artists makes us very happy indeed and in the best company.’

Victoria regularly shares her beauty secrets with her Instagram followers, revealing earlier this year that she is a big fan of the £118 Lancer Radiance Awakening Mask.

She has previously sung the praises of La Mer’s Moisturizing Gel Cream, which is priced at £120.

Model Anyelina Rosa also had a facial treatment using the FOREO UFO mini device, ahead of the Victoria Beckham show
