This Video of a Dad Doing Ballet With His Nervous Toddler Will Warm Your Heart

It’s finally the end of the week (yay!), but there are still a few hours before the end of the work day. To get you through until 6 p.m., here’s an extremely heart-warming video courtesy of an awesome father of three who jumped up on stage to encourage his nervous 2-year-old daughter to dance through her ballet recital.

During an In Motion School of Dance recital in Bermuda, superdad Marc Daniels’ daughter Bella caught a bit of stage fright during her first-ever performance. In a video shared by the school, you can see the rest of Bella’s dance class doing their pliés while Bella stood as still as a rock and started to cry. When prompted by Bella’s teachers, Daniels swooped in with her baby sister Suri, danced alongside Bella, and saved the day and made everyone else’s in the process.

So what got Bella to dance? Daniels said he didn’t want to discourage her by taking her off the stage so he gave her a pep talk. “I walked on holding Suri and stood next to her, trying to help build her confidence,” Daniels told the Daily Mail. “I told her I loved her and that she’s an amazing dancer. I asked if she wanted to dance with daddy and she nodded, so I thought I’d join in.”

OK but how did he get moves like that!? Was he rehearsing backstage the whole time? Well, according to Daniels, he practices with them at home, but now his hidden talent has come to light at his day job.

“Even in court the other day, one of the magistrates made a comment about my moves that prompted the court to erupt into laughter,” Daniels said.

Hey, at least it seems like he has another career option if this lawyer thing doesn’t work out!
