What Is the Net Worth of the Original 'One Day at a Time' Cast?

One Day at a Time on Netflix entertained both new and old fans of the series. The reboot with new characters and a new storyline offered the same cohesiveness of family, love and, of course, humor.

The updated version of the show featured a Cuban-American family living in a multi-generational household in Los Angeles, California. The show addresses all the hot family topics. Including mental health, addiction, immigration, racism, sexuality, gender identity, and drug use. Issues binds the current show to the series that was popular in the 1970s and 1980s.

While Netflix just announced One Day at a Time will not be renewed, the series left a footprint on the history of what the series represented. The 1980s version, like the current show, stood for bonding together as a family. The original cast may have trailblazed the path for the recent series, with all being seasoned and veteran actors. Where are they financially and how did they get there?

Bertinelli portrayed Barbara Cooper in the original series. Barbara was Ann Romano’s youngest daughter and fought to maintain a “good girl” image. Bertinelli remained in the series from start until finish and did her fair share of acting before and after One Day at a Time.

Although Bertinelli appeared in other shows, One Day at a Time was her big break. After the series wrapped, Bertinelli was in a number of successful series.
