Woman recounts ‘date from hell’ where man bolted before texting ‘hard no fatty’

When it comes to dating , everyone is going to go on a terrible night out at some point.

Whether it’s the place, the person, the conversation or something else entirely, you’re bound to really not hit it off with someone sooner or later.

As the old saying goes, you’ve got to kiss a few frogs in order to find your prince (or princess).

However one woman has just shared a tale of a date so bad, it could be one for the history books.

Ryann Miller, from Newport Beach in California, took to Twitter to share the horrific ordeal, which she has branded the "date from hell".

She starts by revealing that she met Brandon, her 38-year-old potential suitor, on the dating app Bumble and the pair arranged to meet up at the Huntington Beach pier on September 14th.

The pair headed to the Huntington Beach Beer Company for a drink, and as they walked Brandon "talked about bad dates he’d had".

But instead of stopping when they sat down, she says he "continued to s*** all over girls my age and our expectations of men."

Unsurprisingly, Ryann reveals that things didn’t improve from there.

"He was completely rude to our waitress because she didn’t walk over to our table fast enough when he finished his first beer. He threw his menu on the floor like a literal baby and then spoke to her in a disgustingly sarcastic and degrading tone.

"He asked me if he was being an asshole and I said yes. He then went on to tell me to lighten up and a bunch of other irrelevant nonsense."

She added: "Three beers and a steak dinner later, he asks if I mind if he uses the restroom. Personally, he can’t walk away from the table fast enough so I can use my phone for more than five seconds without feeling like a jerk."

But Brandon never returned to the table.

Instead Ryann received a shocking text message from him, which read: "Thanks for dinner! Hard no welcome to Cali fatty."

"I sit there for a minute and process what just happened, then I realize that this bill still needs to be paid. I walk up to the waitress and tell her what happened," continues Ryann.

"She walks away for a few and comes back and tells me her manager says that the $50 bill still needs to be paid. Mind you, all I had was a $6 beer.

"The worst part about all of this? He’s a FATHER! To GIRLS!!! And did some further digging and found that his Instagram is full of racist posts, and creeper shots of people he considers ‘fat’."

She added: "Moral of the story: do your research FIRST, gal pals. We are all beautiful women who deserve to be loved, regardless of our size, race, ability, sexuality, WHATEVER. Don’t ever let anybody make you feel anything different. WE. ARE. WORTHY."

Bumble have since been in touch with Ryann to apologise for her terrible experience.

In a comment on Twitter, they said: "Hey Ry, we are truly saddened to hear this story and this is absolutely not the kind of behaviour we expect from our community! Please DM us so we can get rid of this jerk asap! We’ve got your back!"

Ryann then tweeted to say that Bumble removed Brandon’s profile at "lightening speed".
