Woman says ‘yes’ to dream job – helping people pop the question

A woman has become the world’s first full-time wedding PROPOSAL planner – with some clients spending hundreds of thousands of pounds on their special moment.

Daisy Amodio, 37, set up her business in 2012 and now spends her days flying across the globe to help people pop the question to their loved ones.

Planning up to 25 proposals a month, she has more than tripled her salary after quitting her £35,000-a year job to launch her unusual enterprise.

Writing "marry me" in coral reefs, hiring private jets and abseiling into caves are among the tasks carried out by Daisy’s team as they prepare the perfect proposals.

Some clients have even spent up to £800,000 for the company, The Proposers, to arrange a show-stopping proposal.

Daisy told the Daily Star: "One man asked us to hire out the whole of Disneyland for his proposal.

"We had the couple’s names projected on to the famous Disneyland castle followed by a huge firework display. The girlfriend completely loved it, she said yes!"

Daisy and her team have worked with numerous famous names since setting up the business, from sports stars, celebrities and even Arab royalty.

She added she has had a number of "crazy requests" including someone asking if a squirrel could deliver the rings, while another asked if the Queen could attend.

Once, her team even had to abseil into a cave to set up a picnic for a loved-up couple.

Daisy believes the pressure of social media has seen more people up their game when it comes to proposals.

She says one daredevil man asked if her team could arrange for him to abseil down the Eiffel Tower.
