OAP to OMG! Women in their 60s and 70s show off their incredible transformations from pensioners to pin-up girls in stunning shoot
- A photographer worked her magic on a selection of older women
- Make-up, hairstyling and clever editing turned them from frumpy to glam
- DollHouse Photography studios take up to two hours on each transformation
Age is no barrier to beauty, as these stunning photographs of women aged up to 78 prove.
The incredible before and after images show how make-up, hair styling, clever lighting and editing can turn any woman into a pin-up girl.
Chrissy Sparks, 35, from Birmingham, is the woman behind DollHouse Photography, which offers her clients the chance to feel sexy and glamorous – no matter their age or size – in an editorial-style boudoir shoot.
She helped Joanna, 58, Jane 65, Tricia, 60, Pauline, 78, Mavis, 67, turn from frumpy OAP’s to sexy pin-ups.
Not so old Hollywood: Joanna, 58, shed her former frumpy make-up free look for a jawdropping and sexy look in black lace lingerie and her grey hair curled into waves
Ravishing in red: Jane, 65, had her short hair teased into curls and donned a ruby red silk skirt and matching corset and make-up

Boudoir bombshell: Tricia, 60, poured her gorgeous curves into a dusty pink lingerie set and draped herself in glittering jewels
Normally Tricia has shorter hair and often wears unflattering clothes that hide her curvy figure
She has photographed thousands of women since opening DollHouse Photography five years ago and launched Vamp Boudoir Photography in January 2017.
Award-winning snapper Chrissy says: ‘I want everyday women to have access to a full photoshoot experience and magazine cover style images that models usually do.
‘Through my work, I celebrate women of all shapes, sizes and ages, and believe that with the right posing, lighting and styling, I can bring out the best in a woman’s beauty.’
Chrissy’s clients tend to be aged from 20 to their late 40s, so she decided to photograph older women to show that age is just a number and everyone can feel beautiful at any time in their life.
She says: ‘Only around five per cent of our clients are aged 55 and over.
‘The reasons they want a shoot are varied – it could be something just to make them feel sexy.
‘I have a knack at assessing a client’s face, skin and posture to look past signs of ageing and capture images that bring out the best in a woman.
‘Most mature clients want to look well for their age and are not interested in chasing after their youth.
Mrs Robinson eat your heart out: Pauline, 78, is the oldest of the ladies transformed for the photoshoot

Screen siren: Mavis, 67, looks like a Hollywood movie star as she drapes herself over a chaise longue in the boudoir set
Attention! Pauline is unrecognisable from her usually dowdy appearance, looking incredible in a military army costume
‘We have some exquisite diaphanous gowns which can be draped and moulded around fabulous lingerie to produce beautiful images that are more demure than we usually photograph.
‘That’s not to say that we cannot do ‘rock chick’ – we actually had a 72-year-old with a great figure who wanted this before she got any older!
‘I am guessing that even the most hardened tomboy among us has a Marilyn Monroe facet just itching to dress up in something amazing.’
Chrissy’s studio boasts an impressive wardrobe, with £200,000 worth of lingerie sets, corsets, basques, gowns, dresses, accessories, costumes and furniture.
Ahoy sailor! Joanna proves that everyone is bikini ready as she swaps her dreary wardrobe for something a little sexier
Cheers! Mavis knows how to sparkle as the photographer captures her flowing red locks and edits her onto a champagne glass
Sultry: Joanna works her curves in pink lace on a matching couch surrounded by flowers and feathers
Pull-up: 60-year-old Tricia works her gorgeous gams for the camera looking half her age in gleaming gold
She says: ‘The women have a huge collection of garments to choose from in size six to 20 plus.
‘Then our make-up and hair stylists give each client an impressive make over, which can take up to two hours.
‘During the shoot I work on finding the right angle and lighting – even the most famously beautiful Hollywood film stars have their ‘good side’ and special lighting requirements.
‘I pride myself on being able to identify the best about the client’s face and body and capture that in my work in whatever theme the client chooses.’
Jessica Rabbit who? Jane, 65, wowed in her red bustier, pouting and working the camera to perfection

‘Many women want a set of beautiful photographs in fabulous surroundings and garments as a keepsake for their own satisfaction and as a confidence booster.’
Chrissy adds: ‘I sometimes have clients that struggle with a disability in their everyday life and want to see themselves in their best light.
‘I love what I do and I am so passionate about getting the right results.
