Ringo Starr and his All-Starr band have been forced to cancel two gigs after suffering a mystery illness.
The band's show in New Buffalo, Michigan, was cancelled on Saturday night, with the Beatles legend pulling out of the much-anticipated gig just hours before he was due to take to the stage.
The unexpected cancellation comes after the Liverpudlian music icon realised an illness which impacted his voice would prevent him from performing.
Reports say that a spokesperson for the band have said that Ringo's illness is not coronavirus related – but did not confirm what is wrong with him.
Mystic Lake Casino Hotel have confirmed that his Sunday gig in Minnesota will not take place.
"The Ringo Starr and His All Starr Band concert scheduled for 8 pm Sun. 10/2/22 in the Mystic Showroom has been postponed," they announced on Twitter.
"Ringo is sick and was hoping to be able to perform, hence the late notice, but it has affected his voice. Ringo does not have COVID-19."
They went on to add: "He and the band send peace and love to all the fans who were planning to come out and see the show.
"A rescheduled date will be announced in the future. All original tickets will be honoured for the new date," meaning fans of the icon won't miss out altogether.
This comes after Ringo celebrated his 82nd birthday in July at his annual Peace and Love party in LA.
